MountRiver Steel Global Supply successfully participated in the 134th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair), held in Guangzhou from October 15 to 19, 2023.
At the company’s exhibition booth, the team presented its four core product categories—construction steel, flat steel products, structural steel, and steel pipes—to international buyers from Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and South America.
Highlights from the event:
Over 200 business inquiries received from potential buyers across 30+ countries
Product samples of rebar, H-beam, and galvanized steel pipes drew strong interest from infrastructure developers
The multilingual sales team provided on-site consultations covering specifications, pricing, and logistics solutions
“The Canton Fair remains one of the most effective platforms for connecting with global buyers face to face,” noted the company’s export team. “We received very positive feedback on both our product range and our ability to offer competitive pricing through direct mill sourcing.”
The company also took the opportunity to strengthen relationships with existing clients who visited the booth during the fair. Several new business leads from Vietnam, the Philippines, and Nigeria are currently under follow-up discussion.
MountRiver Steel has been a regular participant at the Canton Fair and plans to return for the 135th session in spring 2024.
